Nurse-led complimentary cosmetic assessment

How does it work?

A complimentary, cosmetic-focused appointment with one of our nurses for people who want clarity before committing to a dermatologist consult.

The appointment follows a simple framework across five key domains:

Pigment

Uneven tone, sun spots, freckles, and lingering marks after acne or inflammation

Redness

Flushing, persistent redness, visible vessels, and sensitivity

Texture

Roughness, congestion, enlarged pores, and early fine lines

Volume & shape

How facial structure and soft tissue change over time and how that affects overall balance

Skin quality

Hydration, barrier health, brightness, and overall skin resilience

What’s the focus?

The focus is a longer-term plan — usually mapped over the next 6–12 months — so care feels intentional rather than reactive. That means working out what to do first, what to add later, what to avoid, and how to time things around seasons, events, downtime, and budget.

Skincare routines can be reviewed to pick up common irritants, missed basics, and quick wins. If it’s relevant to your goals, the nurse can also talk through the types of laser and light treatments we offer and how they’re commonly used for pigment, redness, and texture. Cosmetic injectables can be discussed in the same way — as part of an overall plan, not a one-size-fits-all answer.

Some concerns do need a dermatologist appointment. If that’s the case, the nurse will explain why and help you book into the right pathway.

Our most commonly asked questions

What do you mean by a 6–12 month plan?

A staged approach. Foundations first (routine, barrier, consistency), then targeted steps layered in at the right time — so changes are gradual, sensible, and easier to maintain.

Is it really complimentary?

The assessment is complimentary. If you choose to proceed with any optional treatments or products, those are separate and explained upfront.

Can we talk about lasers and light treatments?

Yes. The nurse can explain the range of laser and light-based treatments we offer, what they’re commonly used for, and whether a dermatologist appointment is recommended before proceeding.

Can we talk about cosmetic injectables?

Yes. Cosmetic injectables can be discussed as part of an overall plan, including whether they’re likely to fit your goals and what the next step would be.

What should I bring?

A quick list of what you use on your skin (or photos of the products) and your top one or two goals.
